Flying through the passage between parked yachts in Kekova Bay marina.
The Kekova region was declared a Specially Protected Area in 1990 to protect the natural, cultural and geographic richness of Kekova Island and surrounding coast, and is managed by the Ministry of Environment, Authority for the Protection of Special Areas.
Kekova region, also named Caravola, is a spectacular and highly enjoyable place to visit for its great beauty and charm.
It is a peaceful place of history, gorgeous turquoise water, sun, islands, unspoilt nature, blue skies and wonderful swimming and diving site.
In the past, Kekova Bay has served as refuge and retreat bay for pirates, and till today it preserved the soul and the sense of escapism and natural virginity.
